Several worship services are held each
Sunday at the Howard County Detention Center (HCDC) for men, for
women, and for some in other parts of the institution. These
services are provided by a number of area churches and religious
groups, some on a monthly or quarterly basis and others on an annual
rotation basis. The following churches and religious groups are
providing Sunday worship services this year (2000) at HCDC. These
are listed alphabetically. Several of the churches have been
involved in ministry at HCDC for more than twenty years. Members of
the Chrystal family (leaders of the group from Carney Assembly of
